Interview with God گفتگو با خدا
Interview with God
I dreamed i had an interview with God.
"So you would like to interview with me?" God asked.
"If you have the time" i said.
God smiled: "My time is eternity...what questions do you have in mind for me?"
"What surprises you most about mankind?"
God answerd: "That they get tired with childhood, they rush to grow up, and then long to be children again."
"And they lose their health to make money and then lose their money to restore their health."
"That by thinking anxiously about the future. They forget the present.
such that they live in neither the present nor the future."
"That they live as if they will never die. and die as thought they have never lived."
God`s hands took mine and we were silent for a while.
And then i asked: "As a parent what are some of the life`s lessons you want your children to learn?"
"To learn they can not make anyone love them."
God said: "All they can do is let themselves be loved."
"To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others."
"To learn that is only takes a few secounds to open profound wounds in their heart that we love and it can take many years to health them."
"Tto learn that a rich person is not the one who has the most
but is one who needs the least."
"To learn that there are people who love them;
but simply do not yet know how to expreas or shoe their feelings."
"To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it differently."
"To learn that it is not enought that they forgive one anothers
but they must also forgive themselves."
"Thank you for your time." i said humbly.
"Is there anything else you`d like your children to know?"
God smiled and said: "Just know that i`m here always."

گفتگو با خدا
در رؤياهايم ديدم كه با خدا گفتگو مي كنم.
خدا پرسيد: پس تو مي خواهي با من گفتگو كني؟
من در پاسخ گفتم: اگر وقت داريد.
خدا خنديد: وقت من بي نهايت است.
در ذهنت چيست كه مي خواهي از من بپرسي؟
پرسيدم : چه چيز بشر شما را سخت متعجب مي سازد؟
خدا پاسخ داد: كودكيشان، اينكه آنها از كودكي شان خسته مي شوند عجله دارند كه بزرگ شوند، بعد دوباره پس از مدتها آرزو مي كنند كه كودك باشند، اينكه آنها سلامتي خود را ا ز دست مي دهند تا پول به دست آورند و بعد پولشان را از دست مي دهند تا دوباره سلامتي خود را به دست بياورند، اينكه با اضطراب به آينده مي نگرند و حال را فراموش مي كنند و بنابراين نه در حال زندگي مي كنند و نه در آينده، اينكه آنها به گونه اي زندگي مي كنند كه گويي هرگز نمي ميرندو به گونه اي مي ميرند كه گويي هرگز زندگي نكرده اند.
دست هاي خدا دستانم را گرفت.
براي مدتي سكوت كرديم.
و من دوباره پرسيدم : به عنوان يك پدر مي خواهي كدام درس هاي زندگي را فرزندانت بياموزند؟
او گفت: بياموزند كه آنها نمي توانند كسي را وادار كنند كه عاشقشان باشد، همه كاري كه مي توانند بكنند اينست كه اجازه دهند كه خودشان دوست داشته باشند، بياموزند كه درست نيست كه خودشان را با ديگران مقايسه كنند، بياموزند كه فقط چند ثانيه طول مي كشد تا زخم هاي عميقي در قلب آنان كه دوستشان داريم ايجاد كنيم اما سالها طول مي كشد تا اين زخمها را التيام بخشيم، بياموزند كه ثروتمند كسي نيست كه بيشترين ها را دارد كسي است كه به كمترين ها نياز دارد، بياموزند كه انسانهايي هستند كه آنها را دوست دارند فقط نمي دانند كه چگونه احساساتشان را نشان دهند، بياموزند كه دو نفر مي توانند با هم به يك نقطه نگاه كنند اما آن را متفاوت ببينند، بياموزند كه كافي نيست كه فقط آنها ديگران را ببخشند بلكه آنها بايد خود را نيز ببخشند.
من با خضوع گفتم: از شما به خاطر اين گفتگو متشكرم. آيا چيز ديگري هست كه دوست داريد فرزندانتان بدانند؟
خداوند لبخند زد و گفت: فقط اينكه بدانند من اينجا هستم؛ هميشه.

آنان با دیدگاه محدودشان، همواره انگیزه های شما را سرکوب می کنند.
در رؤياهايم ديدم كه با خدا گفتگو مي كنم.
خدا پرسيد: پس تو مي خواهي با من گفتگو كني؟
من در پاسخ گفتم: اگر وقت داريد.

walkout
Definition: A strike; a unified employee protest against an employer.
Example: 1) The steel plant has been shut down by a walkout.
Etymology: This term came into use in the late 1880s, when labor unions began to organize mass protests against low wages and inhuman working conditions.
keep an eye on
Definition: To watch very carefully; to guard; to place under surveillance.
Example: 1) You have to keep an eye on those workers. One of them has been stealing french fries. 2) I'm going outside for a minute -- would you keep an eye on my books?
Etymology: Through your 'eyes' you see and understand the world, and when you 'keep an eye' on something, you constantly watch or monitor it to get a full understanding of what is happening.
barking up the wrong tree
Definition: Looking for something in the wrong place; to be mistaken.
Example: 1) Tanya tried to get some money from her uncle, but she was barking up the wrong tree -- he doesn't have a dime! 2) If you're looking for a new job, Ted, you're barking up the wrong tree. We aren't hiring right now.
Etymology: A dog will chase its prey (such as a cat) until it runs up a tree. The dog then barks to tell its owner where the prey is. Sometimes, the dog might get confused, and bark at the 'wrong tree' where there is no prey.
